Defective products
When a product fails and someone gets hurt, the company that made it may be responsible.

Three kinds of defects
| Defect | Example |
|---|---|
| Manufacturing | One batch was made wrong |
| Design | Every unit is unsafe because of how it was designed |
| Warning | The danger wasn’t explained |
Georgia law
Manufacturers can be strictly liable for injuries caused by products that weren’t merchantable and reasonably suited to their use when sold. There’s also an outer time limit for many product claims, generally measured from the first sale.
Keep the product. Don’t throw it away, repair it, or send it back to the company. It’s the most important evidence.
